Kaye graduated from Massey University in 1993 with the Ian Cairney Academic Prize and Muriel Caddie Scholarship. After several years in practice, she returned to Massey University and completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2002.

During her residency she was simultaneously enrolled doctoral studies and was part of the team to bring the first veterinary hydrolysate diet to market, Hills Z/D. She achieved Membership Australia New Zealand College Veterinary Scientists in Canine Medicine in 2003 whilst working as Registrar at Murdoch University, Perth, Australia.

Since 2004 Kaye has worked at numerous referral hospitals across the Southeast including North Downs Specialist Referrals, Vets Now Referrals, and London Vet Specialists.

Kaye has special interests in gastroenterology and hyperthyroid cats; she strives to establish a referral service where patients receive individually tailored investigation and action programs and where cases benefit from a multi-disciplinary approach to achieve best possible outcome.

Kaye is currently enrolled in post-graduate study in Animal Welfare, Ethics, Policy & Law, having recently completed studies in One Health. She is interested in the complexities of animal welfare, climate change and sustainability. Above all she is passionate and compassionate to deliver the best care for her patients.
