What is the online portal for?

The Pet People online portal integrates directly with our practice software, meaning that all your pet’s information is on there and updated in real-time. You can use it to see:

  • When your pet’s vaccinations are due

  • When your pet’s routine medical treatments are due

  • Your pet’s laboratory test results

  • All your past and present invoices and payments

  • All your past and upcoming vet appointments

  • Your pet’s weight over time

  • All the past medications your pet has been issued, with instructions

  • You and your pet’s details on our system - and you can update these if they change!

And it’s also an online booking system, allowing you to make and cancel appointments for your pet with just a few clicks!

How do I use the portal?

It’s simple!

If you have never been to Pet People before, and you are not registered with us, you can register yourself and your pets on the portal.

If you have been to Pet People before, but haven’t used the portal, it can match you to your account on our system. Just follow the sign up link, and use the same email address that you gave us when you registered with the clinic.

Finding your way around the portal

  • Takes you to the front page of the portal, which gives you an overview of your pets and appointments

  • Click here to make an online booking.

  • See your past and upcoming appointments here, and make cancellations

  • See your details as they are on our system (phone number, email address, etc) and make changes, additions, or corrections!

  • See and update your pet’s information (age, breed, sex, etc), and also upload a profile picture for them!

  • See your pet’s lab results as they come in. Please note that you may need a vet to explain these to you!

  • See all of your pets’ weights over time!

  • See all the past medications your pet has been prescribed, plus the dosage instructions from your vet!

  • See your pets’ regular treatments (vaccinations, parasite treatment, and more), and see when these are due

  • See your past and current invoices in detail, and make payments as needed

  • See all your past payments to Pet People, and download receipts.
