Recent changes to RCVS guidance on prescribing and dispensing medication mean a physical examination of your pet is much more likely. This is especially so for parasite treatments, antibiotics and controlled drugs.

Pets on other long-term prescription veterinary medications are likely to need to be seen every 3 months.

If your pet requires an examination at the clinic, with one of our vets, we will let you know as soon as possible. Please note there is a standard consultation charge for such an examination, although this is free for our health plan members. 

We will aim to get this request processed within the day and your medications ready for collection within two days.

We may be limited by the amount of medication we are able to dispense in one go, this is especially true of controlled drugs where we are limited to one month only.

If you prefer, we can supply you with a written prescription instead of the medications. Please note there is a charge for the written prescription unless you are a family member, in which case it is included as a health plan benefit.

Written prescriptions will be emailed directly to your online pharmacy, please provide their email when requesting the medications.
