Pet People Background
Pet People is a new independent small animal veterinary practice in East Sheen that opened in January 2022. We are looking for a motivated and professional veterinary surgeon to work alongside our experienced team to provide excellent standards of care for both patients and clients.
We believe in growing a culture where everyone has input into the development of the practice. We pride ourselves on helping everyone to achieve their full potential and provide excellent training and career progression. Your physical and mental wellbeing is important to us therefore all staff will enjoy a local Gym membership and support for their mental health. Furthermore out-of-hours work is covered by a local 24-hour practice so there are no antisocial hours and our novel and varied rota helps to promote a good work life balance.
We are looking to build a veterinary team with different levels of skills, interests and knowledge to help complement each other and in the future may also have shares available for team members. We also actively encourage our nursing team to utilise their schedule 3 skills so they can work alongside and support you in clinic.
We are also proud to be working with the RCVS as part of their Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP).
The programme aims to support new grads in practice by building their confidence with simple, straightforward tasks, and gradually moving through to more complex tasks as their knowledge and experience grows.
Is this something that sounds interesting to you? If so, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch and let’s see if this could be the start of something really great!
