Behaviour & Mental Wellbeing

Your pet’s mental wellbeing is crucial to their overall health and happiness. Behavioural issues can affect not only your pet’s quality of life but also the bond you share with them. Our behaviour and mental wellbeing services are designed to help you understand and address these challenges, fostering a harmonious environment where pets and their people thrive together.

We’re thrilled to introduce Mel Grech, a certified animal behaviourist with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.

Mel brings a unique, compassionate approach to her work, focusing on creating harmony between dogs and their owners.

As she explains, "I provide kind and effective solutions to help dogs and humans live together harmoniously. To create behaviour change, we need to understand the needs of the species, the individual dog, and what emotions are driving unwanted behaviours. My service is bespoke, responding to the problems that people are having, in the environment that they are having them in. With puppies and adult dogs, I work to understand what changes will have the most transformative effect on the family’s life, and create tailored priorities; not working to fixed lists of weekly ‘commands’ to teach! Together with clients, vets, and other professionals, I look at entire lifestyles, including food, rest, exercise, equipment, and home layout to create contented, therefore calmer pet dogs.”
