Good news – your plan is moving to our new PetPeople Silver plan, which is slightly cheaper than what you’re paying now. Most of what you’ve enjoyed carries straight over, and we’ve added discounts on things like neutering that weren’t there before.

The only things Silver doesn’t include is written prescriptions – if this matters to you, the Gold plan covers this and is still great value.

We wanted to make sure there’s a plan for every pet. Not every pet needs everything the old plan included, so we’ve split things out so clients only pay for what’s right for their pet.

We’ve also introduced discounts on dentals, neutering and more – which we’ve never done before. And across the board, the new plans are better value.

Bronze is designed to give every pet access to unlimited consults at the most affordable price. Kennel cough is on Silver and Gold, where we’ve bundled parasite control and a broader range of routine healthcare.

If kennel cough is important for your dog, Silver is likely the right fit – and it’s still very competitively priced.

Yes, absolutely. Speak to our team and we’ll sort it for you. We’d rather you’re on the right plan than an awkward fit.

If you've been on a plan for less than six months and cancel within that time having used more in benefits than you've paid in, we'll ask you to cover the difference. For the vast majority of members that never comes up, and we're not here to catch anyone out.

If you switch plans, this six month cancellation period starts again. Because the higher tiers include higher savings on services such as dental and neutering, this keeps things fair for everyone.

Gold is our most comprehensive plan – and it’s been designed with golden oldies, pets with chronic conditions and the most conscientious owners in mind.

It includes written prescriptions, faecal parasite testing, a pre-anaesthetic blood test discount and our biggest dental and neutering discounts – all bundled into one monthly payment.

Written prescriptions are mainly for pets on long-term medication for an ongoing condition. So rather than build the cost into every plan we've kept it with the tier designed for that kind of care.

We've put it on Gold because it fits with everything else on that plan – looking after your pet's long-term health and making it easier to say yes to the things that matter. Silver members still get a discount on their medication, so you're not losing out on the everyday savings.

Pre-op bloods are all about peace of mind. Before your pet goes under anaesthetic, they let us check everything's ok behind the scenes – so we know the anaesthetic is as safe as it can be. It's the same reason we'd want bloods done before an operation ourselves.

A discount is included on Gold because it's especially valuable for older pets or those with a chronic condition, who are more likely to need an anaesthetic. We want to make it easy to do the right thing.
