Registered veterinary nurse

Not satisfied with office life, Lucy made the move into veterinary in 2016 and qualified as an RVN in 2021. She has worked in cosy first-opinion practices and 24-hour emergency hospitals, so the mix of cases at PetPeople suits her well.

At home is Red, a ginger moggie adopted from a previous practice when he was brought in as a stray. He has two brain cells, which he devotes entirely to eating and shouting. When Lucy is home, he is firmly attached to her lap.

Lucy is a keen cyclist and tries to get to the gym a few times a week, with varying success. She also loves TV, film, reading and the occasional bouldering session. Her perfect meal is ramen with gyoza, followed by a truckload of Maltesers.
