Lucy joined PetPeople in December 2024 with no previous veterinary experience beyond a lifelong love of animals and growing up with dogs. In the year since, she has learned a lot and grown hugely as a person, and is excited to keep expanding her knowledge of the veterinary world.

At home is Daisy, a five-year-old corgi who is, in Lucy's words, like her furry little sister. Lucy loves teaching her new tricks and watching her absolutely tear around Richmond Park on those tiny legs.

Music is the other great love of Lucy's life. She studied music performance at college for two years and still loves to sing, discover new artists and attempt the guitar, though, she confesses, not very successfully. Her dream meal is something Italian like a mushroom and truffle ravioli with crispy sage, lots of butter and Parmesan, and tiramisu to finish.
