Martha Vallance

Practice manager

Martha began her career in TV production and live events before making the move into veterinary following the pandemic. Starting in a client care role at Village Vet, she went on to gain further experience at Vet4Life before finding her home at PetPeople, where she has since stepped up to the role of Practice Manager. She loves building meaningful bonds with both pets and owners, and supporting the team across Sheen and Richmond. You'll most likely find her in her new office just opposite the CT scanner, which she has officially christened the “Dingo Den”.

At home, Martha has two cats; one slender and slinky, the other more of a plus-sized model. There is also a dog called Diddy, a name she now freely admits was an unfortunate choice.

When she's not at work, Martha can usually be found tending to her indoor plants (on a fairly intense schedule), enjoying a good documentary or hosting movie nights for her friends. Her dream meal? A beach BBQ in Cornwall with family and friends, loaded with fresh scallops, crab and prawns.
