Robyn: Student Veterinary Nurse at PetPeople

Robyn

Student veterinary nurse

Robyn's passion for animal care began at 16, when she started working on a farm and quickly discovered that working with animals was exactly where she wanted to be. From there she went on to complete an animal management diploma before gaining experience as a veterinary care assistant across a range of practices. She's now nearing the end of her nursing apprenticeship at PetPeople, building her clinical skills every day and bringing a real dedication to patient care.

Growing up, Robyn shared her home with a dachshund, two cats and two giant African land snails, who were, by her own admission, firm favourites. She may not have any pets of her own right now, but a life spent around animals of all shapes and sizes has only deepened her love for them and her commitment to their wellbeing.

Outside of work, Robyn is happiest at a live music event or a festival, out on a solo hike, or with a sketchbook in hand. She loves keeping active, being creative and saying yes to new experiences wherever she can find them. When it comes to food, she's torn between Japanese cuisine and a proper roast dinner, and honestly, that's not a bad dilemma to have.
